Google Banned Checker Tool

A few weeks ago I was so happy when I saw my PageRank widget on my sidebar and saw a number 2. I was so happy and checked prchecker.info to confirm my PageRank and it’s back to PageRank 2! After being N/A for a few weeks, I am so happy that Google finally give back my PageRank. But all my happiness turn to sadness again when I saw a “?” on my PageRank widget. I thought: “not again! Am I in N/A again?” I tried to search for my site on Google to see if it is banned or something but I can still see the results. Not satisfied with what I have discovered, I searched for a tool where I can check if my site’s been banned from Google. Then I stumble upon iWebTool Web Tools, and saw the Google Banned Checker Tool and immediately check if this site of mine is really banned or what. Guess what? It says: The domain name DOES NOT appear to be banned.” And I am so happy to know that… Maybe there are just a few technical problems with Google. There’s a lot of websites and blogs for them to check, let’s juts wait and see…

Global climate change is turning icebergs into giant penises.

Experts now believe that it is only a matter of time before an armada of penis-shaped chunks begin to break off the Antarctic ice floes, and then roam the oceans wreaking havoc and luring sailors to their doom.

* We were sceptical of this name. Andy Rouse? A Rouse? Arouse? But he is real, it turns out, and takes very many nice pictures, most of which aren’t penis-related in any way.

I won, I won!

 I recently joined Gen Gen’s Advance Christmas GIve-aways Contest, I didn’t know it ended already andjust forget about it. Last night when I logged on to my YM, I received an offline message saying: “Miah 4th ka”. Then I asked 4th in what? Who is this? And that was Gen Gen saying congratulations to me for winning in her Blog Contest. Wow! This is the first time I won in Blog Contests, So I was really happy! She saidshe will behaving a contest again sometime in Decembe, so I will be joining that too… Watch out for it guys!

A Conversation with a Fellow Filipino

I was walking along the Senado Square one hot summer day when I pass by at St. Dominic’s Church. I saw an old nun sitting on one corner. In front of her were books, rosaries and other things for sale. An image of Mama Mary caught my attention and I went inside and start looking for something to give to my friends and family (pasalubong kumbaga). She looked at me and asked: Filipina? I said yes…

I first saw Sister Dominique at Paulines near The Cathedral, didn’t know there’s Paulines here in Macau too. She told me that there will be a mass at 6:00pm at the Cathedral and it was five minutes before six. She told me: Can’t you hear the angels singing, telling you to go to the mass. Go there so that father will bless you… and so every Sunday I went there to attend the mass.

Well, our conversation shifted to the place where we are, Macau. She talks about Macau’s being tagged as Asia’s Las Vegas because. She told a story about a woman she saw outside the Church with her child. She was crying while holding her baby. They were suppose to go home to China but she found out that her husband wasted all their money in Casinos. A lot of people are hooked up with Casino games and Online Casinos, mostly were Chinese and foreigners, there are also a few Filipinos too… She also talks about the people in San Ma Lo, how a lot of women are selling their bodies to earn a living. I’ve heard from other Filipinos about that too… She said I should be really careful when I go out and ask if my passport is still with me. A lot of people, even Filipinos would take that as a chance to grab some dime on you. But despite the issues surrounding this small place, you can still see a lot of people on the churches every Sunday to attend a mass, and most of them are Filipinos. She said there’s still hope in this land as long as we hang on to God.

After paying for the things that I bought and after that little chit-chat, I bid Sister Dominique goodbye.
